Excessive Celebraton is in the Eye of the Beholder


But what if the beholder is blind? The excessive celebration penalty against Georgia receiver AJ Green was so wrong, even the head of SEC officiating admits it. Little consolation to the 'Dawgs, who lost to LSU primarily due to their refusal to play offense for the first 55 minutes of the game, but the penalty flag didn't help. Frankly, UGA was lucky to be in a position for a penalty to potentially make a difference in this game, given how thoroughly they were dominated by LSU in the first half yet only down 6-0.

Discussing excessive celebration gives us an excuse to post this video, Stick with it until the end. Apparently Vince Dooley never chaired the Table Tennis Rules Committee, or else this gym would be covered with yellow hankies:
